Palak Khichadi

Rice - 1 katori
Spinach - 7-8 leaves
Tomato - 1 finely chopped
Salt - as per taste
Red chilly powder - as per taste
Cumin seeds
Ghee - 1 teaspoon

1. Wash and drain the rice and keep aside for 5 mins
2. Wash Spinach and grind it. make a Puree out of it and keep it aside. 
3. Take a cooker, add 1 teaspoon ghee. Add Cumin seeds. 
4. Add palak puree to this mixture and let it boil for 1 min
5. Add salt, chilly powder as per taste
6. Add rice to this mixture and Saute it for a min. 
7. Add 1 katori water - or more - this depends on how you like your khichadi to be. If you like your khichadi to be soft then add more water. But remember, we have added palak puree which has water in it. 
8. Close the cooker and let it cook. 

Your palak khichadi is ready - Healthy too :)
