Oats Upama

Ingredients:
1 cup - white oats
2 cups - hot water
1 green chilly - chopped
1/2 onion - finely chopped
coriander leaves - finely chopped
salt - as per taste
1 tspn Ghee / Oil
1 pinch Mustard seeds

Method:
1] In a microwave or tava, roast the white oats and keep aside. Simultaneously, keep Hot water ready
2] In a nonstick container, heat ghee / oil and add mustard seeds. Let them pop.
3] Add urad dal and let it turn golden brown, to this add salt, chopped green chilly and onion.
4] Add roasted White Oats to this and saute for a min
5] Add Hot water to this and let it cook on a low flame for 5 mins

Serve hot!!
Enjoy this healthy breakfast and believe me its very filling too :) :)

Tava Pulav

Ingredients:
1 katori Rice - Cooked
1/2 Capsicum - chopped
1/2 Tomato - chopped
1/2 katori Green peas
Pav Bhaji masala - 1 tspb
Salt - as per taste
Cumin Seeds - 1 pinch
Ghee - 1 tspn


Method:
1] Heat 1 tspn ghee in one non-stick tava, once hot, add Cumin seeds
2] To this add, green peas, capsicum and tomato and saute for 5 mins.
3] Add pav bhaji masala and salt and saute for 2 mins
4] Add Cooked Rice to this mixture and let it cook on low flame for 5 mins

Its simple and very tasty :) :)
when i was a kid i use to enjoy this on pav bhaji thelas in nagpur :)
